Tournament Format:
Qualifiers: Based on the number of registrations. Will be played in round robin format, and players will be divided into groups. This is dependent on amount of players.
Matches will be Best of 3. - please note this is indicative and may be subject to change on day of event.
Elimination Rounds: Top players advance to elimination matches (Round of 16 or Round of 4, depending on players registered).
Matches will be Best of 5. - please note this is indicative and may be subject to change on day of event.
Equipment: Players are encouraged to bring their own controllers, though standard controllers will be provided.

Eligibility: Players must be at least the minimum legal age required by local regulations, or have written parental/guardian consent if under that age.

Qualifiers:
The number of qualifier matches depends on total registrations.
Qualifier matches are typically Best of 3 (first to 2 wins).
Elimination Rounds:
Based on qualifier outcomes, top Players advance to elimination (Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, etc., depending on overall turnout).
Elimination matches are typically Best of 5 (first to 3 wins).
Brackets and Seeding: The Tournament Organizers will set up the brackets. Seeding may be random or partially seeded based on known skill levels (at Organizers’ discretion).
Character Selection:
As per most official tournaments, Character selection can be freely choosen between matches. Meaning 2-3 rounds are played, and after a match is concluded players can choose to switch characters.
Time Settings & In-Game Rules:
Default settings: 99-second timer, number of rounds set to 3 (in Best of 3 matches) or 5 (in Best of 5 matches). This can change at the discretion of the Organizers prior to the Event, and is subject to games being played.
Stage selection: Either random or mutually agreed upon by both Players.
Controller/Equipment Setup:
Players may use their own controllers/fight sticks. Standard console controllers are provided if needed.
Players are expected to arrive at their station promptly when called. Failure to arrive on time may result in a forfeit.
Sportsmanship:
All Players, spectators, and guests must behave respectfully and follow good sportsmanship.
Taunting, profanity, or harassment that disrupts gameplay or the event environment will not be tolerated.
No Cheating or Collusion:
Any form of cheating, hacking, game manipulation, or collusion is strictly prohibited.
This includes intentionally altering system settings, using exploits, or conspiring to manipulate match outcomes.
Decision Appeals:
In the event of a dispute, the Tournament Organizers’ ruling is final.
Repeated arguments or confrontations with officials may lead to disqualification or removal from the venue.
BYOC (Bring Your Own Controller):
Any personal equipment is the responsibility of the owner. Organizers are not liable for any loss or damage.
Venue Rules:
Respect the venue property and staff; follow any local guidelines or regulations.
Keep noise and disruptive behavior to a minimum outside of designated gaming areas.
Food and Drink:
If permitted by the venue, Players may have food and drinks in designated areas only.
Absolutely no food or drink on or near gaming setups unless specifically allowed by the Organizers.
Infractions:
Minor offenses (e.g., minor late arrival) may result in a warning or match penalty.
Serious offenses (e.g., repeated harassment, intentional game manipulation) can lead to disqualification or ejection from the event, at the Organizers’ discretion.
Organizer Authority:
The Tournament Organizers or designated staff reserve the right to interpret and apply these rules to uphold fairness and the well-being of all attendees.
Photography and Filming:
By attending, participants agree to the potential use of their name or image in event media. (See full Disclaimer for details.)
Rule Changes:
The Organizers reserve the right to amend these rules in special circumstances to ensure fair competition and uphold the quality of the event.
Any changes will be communicated prior to the start of the tournament or before the relevant round.

Disclaimer:
Scope of Disclaimer
This disclaimer applies to all individuals attending the Street Fighter 6 Tournament (“the Event”), including but not limited to participants (“Players”), spectators, and guests (“Attendees”).
Assumption of Risk
By attending or participating in the Event, Attendees acknowledge and voluntarily assume any and all risks associated with attendance and gameplay, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, and loss or theft of personal belongings.
No Liability for Injuries or Damages
The Event organizers, venue owners, sponsors, or any affiliated parties (“Organizers”) shall not be liable for any injuries (including death), losses, or damages arising from or in connection with participation in or attendance at this Event. Each Attendee is solely responsible for any costs they may incur due to injury, accident, or other occurrences.
Property and Equipment
Attendees bringing personal equipment (e.g., controllers, accessories) do so at their own risk.
Organizers are not responsible for damage to, or loss of, personal belongings or equipment before, during, or after the Event.
Code of Conduct and Removal
Respectful Behavior: Attendees must behave in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. Harassment, threatening behavior, or any form of misconduct will not be tolerated.
Right to Remove: Organizers reserve the right to remove any Attendee—without refund—whose actions violate Event rules or disrupt the Event.
Rule Changes and Finality of Decisions
Organizers may modify the rules, format, or schedule at any time to ensure fairness and the best possible experience for everyone.
All decisions by Organizers (including referees and tournament staff) regarding match results, penalties, and rulings are final.
Indemnification
Attendees agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organizers from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to their participation or attendance at the Event, or breach of these disclaimers.
Media Release (Optional)
By attending or participating, Attendees consent to the use of their name, image, and/or likeness in promotional materials or media coverage of the tournament without compensation.
Additional Terms
Organizers assume no responsibility for Acts of God, civil unrest, or other unforeseen circumstances that may necessitate postponement or cancellation of the Event.
This disclaimer shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the applicable jurisdiction.
By registering for and/or attending the Event, Attendees confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by this disclaimer and all official tournament rules. If an Attendee does not agree, they must refrain from attending or participating. This disclaimer is included in the registration form.
